Announcement: Julie's House Closing
It is with much sadness that I announce that the Board of Directors of Julie’s House and I feel that the time has come to close our shelter for homeless women and their children.
I say a heartfelt “thank you” to my Board of Directors and other faithful supporters. You have made it possible for us to exist for fifteen years and offer refuge and support to hundreds of women and their children.
We will remain a nonprofit organization and continue to operate our thrift store – Making Ends Meet Bargain Center. Our mission will be to give donated clothes, household items, and other necessities to needy families and other nonprofit organizations. We will continue to sell items to the public to defray our expenses. We ask you to support us by shopping at our store and sharing our Facebook posts.
Our facility is at capacity at this time but as soon as the clients are relocated our property will be for sale.
Please pray for me as I make this transition.
Sincerely,
Pat Bourke
